In order to learn things people had to travel to these things called “libraries”. take joy in the small things
Posted on March 16th, 2009 1 commentEveryone faces times in their life where stress can overwhelm you. It can be a combination of school, work, or family. All of these things combined can make life feel like a real grind. People need their own “light at the end of the tunnel” so to speak. Not the morbid, end-of-life “light at the end of the tunnel”, just something you like to do that makes your day a little better, or something to look forward to that makes the ends justify the means. Try new stuff
Posted on March 12th, 2009 1 commentThis one’s a doozy. This should be something that everyone incorporates into their lifestyle if they wish to thrive and be happy. It’s easy to say, “hey, you should try new stuff” and be on my way, but there’s more to it than that. The idea is to keep an open mind, and in order to maintain that you should set goals. It can start small with something like trying 1 new food/hobby/sport/etc a week. Once you get momentum going with this, you can up your personal requirements. Read the rest of this entry »
